Hello, I updated the tracking software but I'm getting a blank calibration screen. I hear that I need to download UNO_V5 separately even though this was in the Antenna_Tracker folder that was downloaded already. I also hear that you need Arduino's IDE software to do this, but I don't know how to use that. Can someone please give me some step by step instructions for this?
Thank you!!!

rmungin, I can tell you what I did. I downloaded the Windows version of Arduino IDE from www.arduino.cc and then ran the installer. I had to search to find the Adafruit_GPS, Adafruit_Sensor, and Adafruit_O055 libraries on github.com and download them. The files have a ".h" on the end of them. I saved these to the folder >This PC > Documents > Arduino > libraries. I clicked on the Clear ROM program. It is an .ino file so you need the Arduino IDE to run it. Then click on the UNO_V5 program (also an .ino file) to run it with the Arduino IDE. You can do a compile first to see if there are any errors, but you click the upload button when your Arduino is connected. I had to choose the proper COM port it was in because it did not do it automatically. Kendra

Thank you for your help! What did you mean by click on Clear ROM program and UNO_V5 program ? When I click on those, they just open some code that I'm not sure what to do with...

Yes, it brings up a box with the Arduino code. Let the Clear ROM go for about 10 sec. and then open the UNO_V5. If it compiles and finds a problem, it will tell you the error (like it can't find a certain library). If there are no errors, click the upload to get it to upload to your Arduino and you are done.

Thank you so much, your help got me a long way! In case anyone having the same problem looks at this, UNO_V5 still wouldn't upload for some reason. The trick seemed to be disconnecting the IMU from the Arduino board and then uploading the UNO_V5. Then I reconnected the IMU and ran the GUI and everything seems to be working properly!

That's good to know, we haven't had that issue happen in the past but I'll try and re-create it in our lab and see if we can find a fix. -Trevor

When I run the ROM_clear program in Arduino IDE, it uploads properly to the Arduino. Then when I tried to upload the UNO_v5, it ran into a fatal error: Adafruit_GPS.h: No such file or directory. I did go to GitHub and I downloaded the Adafruit_GPS, Adafruit_Sensor, and Adafruit_BNO055, and I unzipped the files and put them in This PC\Documents\Arduino\libraries, and it didn't help. Then I moved just the .h files to This PC\Desktop\Antenna_Tracker\GroundStation_UNO_V5, and that didn't work either. So I moved the .h files back to their original places in the libraries folder, and moved everything from there to the GroundStation_UNO_V5 folder. And that didn't work either.
Also, the computer we got when we went to the workshop last summer crashed, so I had to reimage it. I did back everything up, so if I might possibly be missing something, I can try to find it.

The library needs to be installed in the program files arduino folder. Here's a video that should help out.
