Testing the manual tracking, we used the Maestro Control to steer the dish horizontally and vertically. The buttons on the Maestro control worked well when the ground station was just powered up (i.e., before launching the auto Antenna Tracker). As the need for manual tracking might come after first trying the auto tracking, we were also testing in that scenario -- we ran auto tracking following the normal operational procedure, i.e., the IMU initialized, open & run Spyder, the Antenna Tracker GUI popped up, etc., and then, we closed the Antenna Tracker GUI and Spyder, and open the Maestro Control to manually steer the antenna. The movement at this point became very slow -- when one of the two buttons on the Maestro control was moved for up/down or left/right, the button bar moves quickly as normal but the "dot" below the bar followed the bar very slowly and consequently, the antenna moves very slowly. Has any team experienced this phenomena? Thanks.

This is due to the acceleration and speed settings in the maestro control center. If you play with those values you'll be able to adjust how quickly the servos move. Also, the new version of the antenna tracker software as of the june release no longer requires spyder to run. We recommend launching either from the command line or following the instructional video on how to modify the tracker launcher batch file.
