Could we confirm that the University of Bridgeport and the University of Hartford will both be receiving coupons. Both groups submitted separate applications but we never received any confirmation when the applications were submitted. Are both groups on the list?
Thank you

Kendra, Thank you. Does Montana Space Grant have a list of the groups that will receive coupons? When our groups completed the application and submitted it to the balloonmicrobes email address we never received an acknowledgement that it was received. Thank you

I got an acknowledgement email. I'll copy it and you can probably send a message to the email link at the end. Dear Kendra, We are so thrilled to be collaborating with you for NASA’s MicroStrat Eclipse Ballooning Project this August! You, along with 28 other balloon teams from across the country have signed on to collaborate with NASA Astrobiology on a unique experiment in a near-space environment along the path of the 2017 solar eclipse. The bacteria we will be flying is Paenibacillus xerothermodurans, a spore forming bacteria that was isolated from spacecraft assembly clean-rooms. This research in the stratosphere (a good analogue for the Martian surface) will help NASA understand the nature of extremophilic bacteria in the context of microbial life on Mars or other extreme environments. We’re excited that you’re flying a balloon from Nebraska! Before we send you your field kits for use during the eclipse, we have a few questions about your payload. At your earliest convenience, please send us the following: A picture of your uppermost payload. This is where the aluminum coupon will be attached. Pictures of any other modules you are including on Any updates to your launch location, mailing address, primary point of contact, etc. A summary of any data you may be gathering. Please be as descriptive as possible. Are you writing GPS data to an SD card? Are you collecting radiation data? Will you be doing your own visualizations? Etc. Please respond as soon as you can, as this information will help us better prepare your field kits. Feel free to respond with any questions you might have! Thank you so much! ––––––––––– Eclipse Balloon Team - Space Life Sciences Training Program NASA Ames Research Center balloonmicrobes@gmail.com Attachments:

Kendra,
Thank you we received the same message. 1- But when we submitted the requested information no one from Eclipse Balloon Team - Space Life Sciences Training Program NASA Ames Research Center balloonmicrobes@gmail.com responded.
We also wrote to this email as was mentioned in the previous post and no one ever responded.
Do you know if someone at Montana Space Grant has a master list - since they will be mailing the coupons to us?
Thank you,
Jani Macari Pallis, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering University of Bridgeport
