We have run into a bit of problem with the back up payload. I can get the primary payload to work with the laptop using the primary computer through Spyder/Python software that was installed. When I follow exactly the same steps, irrespective of whether I am using the backup computer or primary computer, and set the right com ports as soon as I push update settings the program shows a "Not Responding error". The Spyder does not give any output fromthe sensors like it does for the main payload when it is working. Any suggestions?

We found out that part of the problem was a bad IMU. The system is now able to run through the calibration cycle but servos do not appear to respond to any commands from Spyder though it does respond to manual commands from Maestro. The system works for the primary antenna dish when we swap parts out but does not work on the backup system. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

I sorta kinda remember having problems when both maestro and spyder were open at the same time. Just a thought in case you're still troubleshooting.

Only one program can connect to each com port at a time. This is true for any of the payloads/systems that use a com port. Robert: I sent you an email a few days ago, hope it helped clarify anything. If you need anything further please post here or email me. FYI if you email me and it can help others I will copy/paste the appropriate portions of the email here on the forum.
