There is only one ethernet port on the computers given to us at the July Workshop, but we need two! One for the M5 modem on the ground station and 1 MORE to get the stream data out. Would we be able to stream the data out via wifi alone? Thanks in advance, -sam

Yes you can stream out on wifi and this would be the recommended way of doing it. The laptops provided will use more than one network adapter at once, ethernet and wifi. If you wanted to use two ethernets it gets kinda goofy even if you were to add a switch and router. You would be trying to send data both directions at the same time between the laptop and router, even though ethernet is full duplex you now have only 2 pairs of two wires instead of 2 pairs of 4 wires, I am not sure if this would work, you might have to change config on the router and/or network adapter. I guess you could even add a USB ethernet network adapter but then you would have to add a powered USB hub. I would check with someone in your IT department or someone who knows more than me about networking. During our tests we have been using ethernet for Ubiquity connection and wifi for the internet connection and it seems to work okay. If you have good wifi signal there really is no advantage to having two ethernet connections, the upload bandwidth bottle neck would not be the wifi, most wifi routers have higher rf bandwidth than the service provider provides at the modem/router.
