Hello, For the video payload, our current issue is a Putty Timeout Error, however we don't know if the issue is connected with our unsuccessful Ubiquiti pairing: We've followed all/most of the steps: raspberry pi has static IP 192.168.1.3, ground station laptop has static IP 192.168.1.2 for Ethernet, ground modem is 192.168.1.20 and payload modem 192.168.1.22. We have full connection strength on both modems however they both have 0bps RX for WLAN0. We also get no pings from 192.168.1.3 in command prompt. In the UBIQUITI Pairing Process PDF, there is a step for a "configuration file." What/where is this file and could we get more detail on this? I don't know if the pairing issue is the cause for the unsuccessful command prompt pinging and failed Putty connection, but we're kind of lost in the woods on this one. Don't know where to start. Thank you!!

Is this your first time setting it up, or is this a new problem? 1) Make sure the payload batteries are fully charged. If the battery plugged into M5 is too low, the ubiquity modem can turn on but not fully connect. 2) Make sure the ethernet wires are plugged in properly, and that the pi is turned on. Those would be easy mistakes. 3) Can you log into the admin page on both modems? That would help to narrow down where the problem is. The ubiquity search tool can be useful for finding the ip address of both modems. Sorry, I don't remember using a config file to set up the modems, but I did make a thread outlining many of the settings we used to set up our modem. (But we have a slightly non-standard setup, just FYI.)

Thank you very very much! It turned out to be a settings issue. I used the exact settings you had and it worked
