We updated the ground station software and the arduino sketch and the new GUI is running on our computer. We are able to get location data from the arduino, and we are able to calibrate the IMU. It appears that the servos are connected (when I hit search a check mark appears and the correct COM number). It is working better now than the old system was on our computer, but we still have a few problems.
1.) the modem tracker is up and running, and reporting to the tracking website, but when I put the IMEI number in the tracker GUI nothing happens it appears no data is getting into the tracking software.
2.) I am unable to get the dish to move at all with the tracker software (everything is working with maestro servo controller fine) but the tracker software won't let me manually move it.
3.) When I hit autotrack a pop-up appears that says no servos attached.
It seems like we are so close to getting it working, but we cannot get everything in sync.

1. Make sure you select Iridium as an autotrack option in the settings page before you update the settings. If you do, and you still get no data, check the terminal to see if you're failing to connect to the database.
2. Autotrack needs to be disabled for the manual controls to work. Make sure you haven't launched the Antenna Tracker in the settings tab before you to try to do manual movement.
3. The servo COM port should autofill in the connections section as well. If this isn't the case, then the servo controller is not being recognized by the program. Make sure that (in Maestro Control Center) your servos are set to Dual Port mode. If they still won't autofill, you may need to determine which port your servos are on and enter it manually.

When you start Antenna_Tracker, there should be a command window that is still there hidden behind the UI. That list a lot of diagnostic info and will indicate when you are missing a package you might has missed.

Ok we now have everything working! We switched out the Maestro control board and now everything is good. For some reason the tracker UI thought that it was moving the servos but the station wasn't turning, but we could control the servos in the Maestro Control program. With the new board we also get movement from the tracker program.

Also make sure the "usb dual port" option is selected in the Maestro Control Center "Serial Settings" tab. Typically only one program can access any com port at a time, things will not work correctly if two programs or processes are trying to control the same com port. You can get away with the Maestro Control Center open at the same time as the antenna tracker but it is not recommended and you do need to have "usb dual port" selected.

Hello, I have problems with the antenna tracker. When I run it on python it displays this error:
File "Antenna_Tracker_and_RFD_Controls_GUI.py", line 19, in <module> import serial ImportError: No module named serial
I need help to run it, is the only issue for now.

In this case that means that the library isn't installed. Run the command 'pip install pyserial' if that commit doesn't work I would recommend going through the video posted on how to install, update and run the ground station software.
