Hey, there. Okay, I am getting an error when trying to launch the GUI via the python command at the end of this update. Here is a screenshot of the issue: This is the second time that we have walked through the entire installation, and I have confirmed that all components have been followed and satisfied. We are really trying to get this issue resolved before the June 20 dry run. We cannot go past this point because the GUI will not execute. Thoughts? Many thanks!

Is your pyserial up to date? It should be version 3.x
If not, run
sudo pip install pyserial --upgrade

Not sure if this is the problem but.......depending on your PC's configuration, you cannot always run the GIT bash as a command prompt for Windows. You are running this from the GIT shell and not Windows command line. Run it from Windows command line and not GIT bash.
Just a note, you can set up your pc to run GIT from command prommpt and not alway GIT bash, but you cannot do it the other way around. GIT bash is closer to Linux syntax and not Windows, most Windows commands and syntax will NOT work in the GIT shell.

Is your pyserial up to date? It should be version 3.x If not, run sudo pip install pyserial --upgrade Additionally: we have seen pip not update/upgrade pyserial. After running the command posted by Austin check the version of pyserial with, pip freeze this will list added modules and version numbers, pyserial needs to be 3.0 or newer. If pyserial is not 3.0 or newer run, sudo pip uninstall pyserial then reinstall with, sudo pip install pyserial
