When I installed the new software, it worked great. Now it runs the two commands, then the monitor has a bunch of line of commands pop up rapidly and the window closes. Bottom line the tracker window isn't opening.

I tried running it through spyder and it still wont work

It's no longer required to run it through spyder, for your error you'll need to update the pyserial library on your computer. Try running the command 'pip install pyserial --upgrade' if that doesn't work run the commands 'pip uninstall pyserial' and then 'pip install pyserial' that will ensure that your computer grabs the newest version.
