Hello all,
I know that Montana has worked very hard to send out the latest updates for each of the systems. However, there are some concerns on our team that we could cause unseen issues in the future. After all, we have all of our systems working, and we don't want to try and fix something that's not broken.
I understand that the video payload update reduces the bandwidth needed for a stream. However, I don't know what the benefits provided by the ground station update are. Still image is not a priority for us, but accurate tracking and range definitely are.
What are the upsides to updating our ground station?
Thanks!

While I don't know what the updates have done, I felt like sharing that my team has elected to only do the video updating and not the GS since it is working better than ever since June.

That's pretty much what we are planning to do, unless there is something critical in the update that we don't know about.

The primary update to the ground station system is an explanation of how to calibrate/map the servos. As you said, the June update was the big update for the ground station system.
