When I follow all the steps in the guide for the video camera, I get to where putty says it is buffering and you have to open VLC player. Putty keeps showing 0% buffered and VLC has a blank screen. On the still image I get to the point where you request an image and in never shows up on the screen. Can someone tell me how to fix this please? I am using a hard line for internet so I know that it isn't network speed.

The hardline for the internet has nothing to do with either of these. For the video, do you have a static IP set on the computer(ethernet not wifi)? Do the signal lights on the radios show a connection between the two radios? If there is a connection the LEDS will show a signal strength, if not there will be no signal strength shown. If not you will not have connection to the Pi. If you do have a static IP set ping the pi by going to the command line and typing: ping 192.168.1.xx (replace the xx with the address of your pi, likely 03, 192.168.1.3) If it times out and returns nothing ping both the modems to see where the connection is lost, repeat the same step but replace the xx in the address with the ground radio first, if it connects ping the air radio next. If you have a connection to the pi it means vlc is not running. On the still image: Do you get a time stamp from both the pi and computer before the GUI opens? If not the radios are not connected or the program on the pi is not running. Can you see the packets coming in on the output window when you request an image? If not it will give an error message in the output window, what is the error message it gives?

Because I am not very computer literate. Thank you for any help that you can offer. You can shoot me an email to let me know. c.youngx3@yahoo.com
